Infrastructure Development Authority

Infrastructure Development Authority (IDA) was constituted under the Bihar infrastructure enabling Act, 2006.

The organization was setup for the rapid development of physical and social infrastructure in the state and to attract private sector participation in the designing, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure projects in the state and to reduce administrative and procedural delays.

The organization aims to provide an investor friendly environment in the state of Bihar by ensuring speedy processing of clearances and certificates required for setting up of industrial undertakings for the promotion of all-round development of the state.
